I should have mentioned in the previous letter that I am trying to simulate 
the output of a shaper with a known burst rate and known transmission rate.

Good morning, I am simulating Virtual Clock.  I've established a UDP/CBR 
agent/application and I am trying to figure out how to simulate a burst of 
packets being sent.  As I see it, CBR by itself does not provide that 
feature.  Also I am trying to measure the average and maximum delay of 
packets being sent.  Am I correct in assuming that I need to manipulate the 
output.tr file using perl or awk with which I am barely familiar or is there 
something that already exists to help me measure those parameters.
