Installation problem.

Hi,

   I am installing ns on a windows NT machine using visual c++ 6.0.

I finished installing tclcl but when i go to ns the installation stops
with this error message:

        mkdir gen
        erase gen\\version.c
Could Not Find D:\satish\thesis\netsim\ns-2.1b6-current\gen\version.c
        ..\tcl8.0\win\Release\tclsh80 bin/string2c.tcl version_string <
VERSION
> gen\\version.c
The system cannot find the path specified.
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: '..\tcl8.0\win\Release\tclsh80' : return code
'0x1'
Stop.

When i open gen/version.c i don't find anything in it(it's empty).

Can anyone help me with this problem of mine???
