Re: The Rate-Halving Algorithm for TCP Congestion Control (fwd)

I don't think this got mentioned on ns-users, but since code is
available, here's a forward.

Subject: Re: The Rate-Halving Algorithm for TCP Congestion Control

We now have a website up with more information on the RH algorithm.
It includes a copy of the current working draft, which Matt sent to
the list, a tarfile with sources for the "ns" simulator, and a page
with some sample comparisons between RH, Reno, and NewReno.

The URL is:

	http://www.psc.edu/networking/rate_halving.html

The trace comparisons show graphs of the behavior of the various
algorithms. The quality of the plots is reasonably good, but if you
want better it should be easy to rerun those tests using the patches
in the ns-rh.tar file.

Questions and comments are welcome!
