Interarrival times less than 1 microsecond

Hi,

My question refers to interarrival times when performing trace-driven
simulation.
Is it possible to use interarrival times less than one microsecond?

The file traffictrace.cc defines the packet interarrival times (in
microseconds) as 32-bit unsigned integers. Consequently, the minimum
interarrival time one ca
n have is 1 microsecond.

Have somebody worked around this and used interarrival times below 1
microsecond ?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Velibor Markovski
