I have argued before, and I will too now, I think that it would be preferable
to have a pdf document of the ns Notes etc. The main reason is the search
functions. And, please try to use something like pdflatex directly, not ps2pdf.
This means you have to take out one small psfigure thing in one file and
redo it using plain figure commands. Easily achived once you say ok let's
do it.

Again, let's have a pdf of the Ns Doc and Notes for searchabiliy reason
mainly.
