DLL NOT FOUND. (NS on win 95)

I have successfully built ns-2.1b5 on my win 95 machine (using MSVC 6.0).

However, when i try to run ns,I get the error :

A required DLL ws2_32.dll not found.

Can anyone guide me with this error ?
I tried to search for this missing dll, but it does not seem to be present 
in any directory. Is this a dll specific to MSVC 5.0 or earlier versions ?
