packet transfer across multiple LAN's in ns

Hi,

I have a problem with LAN's in NS-2.1B5. I created 2 LAN's with two nodes
in
common so that there is connectivity between the LAN's. I then initiated a
TCP session between one node in one LAN and another node in the second
LAN. This does not work. Packets are not able to movebe across
LAN's. 

Could someone help me solve this problem,
