More about Mac/Csma/Cd

I have seen the posting by Jason Todoroff (9/18/99) and another by Lloyd
Wood (9/22/99).I had Lloyd's problem and I tried to uncomment mac-csma.o
line in Makefile.ini, and other multiple lines in both tcl and cc files
such as mac.tcl, mac-csma.cc, channel.h,...and recompile ns. It did not
work at all.

Then I see Jason's posting. He did not use the class Mac/Csma/Cd, but
Mac/802_3 instead. This last class did not appear in any of the tcl
files in .../ns-2.1b5/tcl/lan. At least in the files I unzipped from
ns-src-current.tar.gz.

I've also downloaded ns-src-2.1b5.tar.gz, but I haven't unzipped it yet.
Which one provides support for Mac/802_3??
