problems when updating rcl code to ns2.1b5

Hi,
I am trying to port the rlc code from ns2.1b3 to ns2.1b5. After some
changes,
I got the following error:
ns: _o19 new-group 1 32773 -1 cache-miss: can't read "protocols_(-1)":
no such variable
    while executing
"$protocols_($iface) upcall $code $source $group $iface"
    (procedure "_o20" line 9)
    (mrtObject upcall line 9)
    invoked from within
"$mrtObject_ upcall $code $src $group $iface"
    (procedure "_o16" line 3)
    (Node new-group line 3)

    (procedure "_o19" line 3)
    (Classifier/Multicast new-group line 3)

However I can't figure out what is the problem.
Can someone help me.
