problem compiling gt-itm

Hi:

I am working with the gt-itm project now (source file used
to generate the network toplogy), I am working on the Linux platform.
when I compile the makefile, it reports the error:

 couldn't fine NBBY (appeared in geog.c, line 185).

In the head of the geog.c, there include a sys/types.h file which
is said to be used for the NBBY, I checked the types.h but didn't find
any NBBY.

Is there anybody met such problem, can you give me any advice.
