Dear Seniors

I guess some of internal process of multicast membership management in DVMRP and PIM-DM have not been implemented. For example, Query Response Interval is definitely being ignored. 

In real world, an edge multicast shouldn't know the number of group members on a subnet where its interface belongs. But NS-2 does count the number in its multicast routing protocol, DVMRP and PIM-DM. This seems main reason NS-2 doesn't need Query Response Interval and membership query when a multicast router receives a Leave Group message. 

Any plan to change ? :>
