Question about TCP performance

Hi,

There were a few messages about measuring TCP performance in terms of
end-to-end delay for TCP packets. If I have a
fixed-node->base_station->mobile node configuration where TCP packets are
sent from the fixed node to the mobile node.

Should I use the start time as
(a) packet generation time at fixed node or
(b) arrival time of packets at the base station node?
