Hi there,

The maximum number of nodes that ns-2 can generate is only 128 when in
default mode (7 bits field set aside for nodes).

But this can be over-ridden by the command

$ns set-address-format expanded

which allows 4194304 nodes (22 bits field).  Actually, one reads that the
new releases of ns-2 are supposed to handle 4294967296 nodes (32 bits
field) as _default_.
