[ns] flow monitor

hello,

i am new to ns and so need some help with usage of 'flow monitor'. 

To initialise the flow monitor i should first set a classifier to map
packets to the flow right ? how do i do it ? i tried

$fmon classifier [$R(1) set classifier_]

but by default the node R(1) has the classifier value set to
Classifier/Addr. i need Classifier/Hash/Fid. how do i change that ?

or if i am totally off track, pls correct me.
