[ns] BER, and file size

Hi ns-users,
I want to set a bit-error-rate for a wired duplex link but I can not find
the information in ns note & documentation. Also, can I set the size of a
file that I want to ftp over TCP. Could you please show me how to set them
or where I can get the information. Please help.
