[ns] The wireless node only support DropTail/PriQueue, right?

hi, I got a problem when I tried to change the Interface Queue Type (ifq) 
from Queue/DropTail/PriQueue to RED, the NS died. Even when I run the 
simple-wireless.tcl, the very simple script from  Marc Greis's tutorial.

So, does this mean only DropTail/PriQueue is supported in the wireless node? 
How can I run RED (or other Queue management method) to replace it?
