[ns] LossMonitor doesn't give accurate information?

LossMonitor doesn't give accurate information about the number of packets
lost if the last contiguous packets sent by the source are not received. In
particular, if no packets gets received, the nlost_ variable in LossMonitor
will be 0. Is there a simple way of fixing this?
