Take a look at NS Doc chapter 21 on Queue Monitoring
and Flow Monitor.  They allow you to trace dropping
packets (and bytes) easily.  For computing delay, I
don't know any easy method.  Computing them from the
trace file needs additional programming (not too easy
either); I would add some field into packet header and
process that in my ns C++ code.
