Re: [ns] weight and length of the queues in DiffServ

Hi,
remember how a WRR scheduler works. The X value decides the fraction of
the next link's rate ( Y and Z the same ). For example , if after the
scheduler there is a link with a bandwidth of 10Mb and you have X=5 Y=2
and Z=3 , you allocate a bandwidth of
    X
 -------- * 10Mb = 5Mb
 X+Y+Z
for the EF traffic , a bandwidth of
    Y
 ------- * 10Mb = 2 Mb
 X+Y+Z
for the BE traffic and a bandwidth of
    Z
 ------- * 10Mb = 3 Mb
 X+Y+Z
for the AF traffic.
About the length i think it's not easy to determine the values , if you
will know something more please send me a mail.
Good work.
Bye Bye
Federico
