hi.

I am trying to simulate our path restoration algorithm...

The topology is like,
        L5-------L6--------L7
        / \       \       /  \
       /   \       \     /    \
n0----L1----L2-----L3---L4----n5

Initial, working path is n0-L1-L2-L3-L4-n5. Then at some instance of time 
this goes down. So, the protection path which is configured before hand 
should be used to reroute the traffic. I am trying to find the time it takes 
to switch to the back up path, the drops, packets reordered and so.

Any suggestion sor pointers would be helpful
