[ns] Dimensioning of buffers in gateway-nodes

Dimensioning of buffers in gateway-nodes
-------------------------------

Hi

I wonder if there are any rules of thumb when it comes to dimensioning
the buffers in nodes acting as gateways/routers.
For example, assume you have the topology below. To what size (in
packets) would you set the buffer of node n3, and
why?

---- 100 MB, 5ms
| n0 |----------------|
---- |
                                              |
---- 100MB, 5ms --- 1MB,
50ms --- 100MB, 5ms ---
| n1 |--------------| n3 | -----------------------| n4|-------------|
n5 |
----
---
--- ---
                                              |
---- 100MB, 5ms |
| n2 |--------------- |
