[ns] Measure bandwidth

Hi all,
I'm testing a new queueing algorithm, so I want to evaluate if it gives
bandwidth guaranteed to flows.
This flows are ON-OFF exponential. Actually I'm using Lossmonitor object as
sink, but I would like to clear statistic when last packet from ON period was
received, to perform a correct bandwidth evaluation. Anyone can give me some
hints to do it?!?
I think that flowmon maybe useful, but I can't find explanations on use of this
object...where can I find it?
