[ns] running ns

Hi, 

I have problem running ns.

After extracting the files, in the directory of ns-allinone-2.1b6, i typed
./install 

But when I typed ns example1b.tcl after the installing at the prompt, it
said ns not found. Could you suggest what might possilbly go wrong? and
what can I do to fix it?
