hi,

1. you would need to parse the trace file to extract the relevant
information and then use gnuplot. There are a few scripts in the ~ns/bin
directory. 
2. take a look at ~ns/tcl/test/test-suite-lan.tcl file for an example of
CSMA/CD. It is called MAC/802_3 in ns
