[ns] nam install Q

HI, there, 
  when i installed nam dialy snapshot from piece by piece, I got the
follwing error:

checking for tcl.h... -I/home/yanyu/ns/tcl8.0.4/generic
checking for libtcl8.3... no
checking for init.tcl... /home/yanyu/ns/tcl8.0.4/library
checking for tclsh8.3.2... no
checking for tclsh8.3... no
checking for tclsh... /home/yanyu/ns/tcl8.0.4/unix/tclsh
configure: error: Installation of tcl seems incomplete or can't be found
automatically.
Please correct the problem by telling configure where tcl is
using the argument --with-tcl=/path/to/package
(perhaps after installing it),
or the package is not required, disable it with --with-tcl=no.

I checked up tcl directory, it doesnot have libtcl8.3 in tcl8.0.4. why it
is looking for  libtcl8.3,  tclsh8.3.2 and tclsh8.3.

could someone pls give me some clue what went wrong??
