[ns] Announcing the creation of the ns-edu mailing list

Dear ns users,

we are announcing the creation of the "ns-edu" mailing list, a
discussion forum dedicated to the use of ns and nam for educational
purposes. We hereby invite all interested parties to join in the
list and participate in the discussions.

We are aware of a number of disparate efforts to apply ns for
educational use (at Baylor, Berkeley, Chalmers, ISI, and more). At
ISI as part of the CONSER project (http://www.isi.edu/conser/) we
will be coordinating use of ns for educational purposes. One of
our goals is the creation of an open, centralized repository which
will hold contributed work. This may include ns and nam traces,
tcl scripts, various filters, presentation slides, or even complete
teaching modules.

To join the ns-edu mailing list, please send email to [email protected]
with no subject line and the command "subscribe ns-edu <your-email
address>" in the body of the message

You may also preview some of the contributed work at
http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/edu/index.html. If you would like your
link to be included in this page, please send us the URL. We expect
to be improving this in the coming months to allow web submissions
of new demos.

Thank you and hope to see many of you in the list.
