Re: [Re: [Re: [Re: [ns] tclcl installation problems]]]

Hello
I know I have been a true headache for you during the last few days. thank you
very much for your concern in my problem.
the good news is everything went right. my great mistake was that I put the
.tar.gz file of the all in one version of NS on a windows partition due to
space limitations on the linux partition then I mounted this windows partition
to linux and extracted the file then tried to run the ./install script that
fails each time in creating some links to some files beacuse it is running on
a windows partiotion so the installation ends incorrectly. when I moved the
file and directory of ns to the linux partition everything went correct !!!!

thank you again

now the bad news ???!!!!!

I tried to run ns by typing (ns <tcl_script> )
but I kept saying
(ns :error in loading shared libraries : libtk8.3.so : can not open shared
object file : no suchfile or directory)

I found the file libtk8.3.so in the (ns/tkbox/lib) directory and included this
one in the path variable but nothing changed then I copied this file to the
directory (/ns/bin , which I included in the PATH variable also )
but the same message gets out !!!!!!
Can you please tell me what is wrong !!!!

thank you
