[ns] otcl make test failed

Hello all....
I have installed tcl8.0.4 and otcl-1.a4 in /home/mydir/ in Red Hat 6.2

When i do make test in otcl-1a4 i get core dumped right after
testsuit OBJECTVARIABLES PASSED

I can enter in otclsh and can define some classes there, for
example :

class car
car instproc ... { } {
......................
}

The problem is that when i try to create a new object i get the following
error:

set a [new car]
%invalid command name "new"

Can anyone, please tell me what shall i change to make otcl work properly??
