[ns] 802.11 simulation

hi ,

i am working on 802.11 mac layer simulation simulation. i have some
questions:
1) what is unit of radius in $mobilenode radius <r>. do i have to change
the physical channel Tx and Rx power variable also for change of r.

2) is there any way to see in the nam output the radius of the mobile node
as it moves? i have run marc greis's wireless1.tcl sample and tried to
put the radius for the node as 10 with a different scenario of 50 nodes
and it only shows a node turining green w/o conveying anyhting abt who is
in its
range.

3) is there any sample which really calls the 802_11 hook and set the mac
layer parametrs?

4) how can i use the gt-itm random scenarios?

i am new to ns and hence hope that some of my questions might be very
simple,

thanks,
saumitra
