*why so many received: Because a good part of the
"sent","s", packets are traced as "forwarded","f",
packets.
*How would I do your energy stuff:
I would brutally add an energy field in a packet
header (in packet.h for instance, or any other of your
choice)and fill this field whith Ne in the C++ code
before sending or forwarding.Then, modify cmu_trace.cc
so that the "energy" field of the packet header appear
in the trace.
