Actually it should work on both FreeBSD and Linux.  It was ported to
Linux in the last year and will be maintained on both platforms.

Following-up the original poster, nse is not currently supported on
Solaris because of libpcap.  If someone wants to port it, we're happy
to integrate clean patches.
