[ns] How to check the changed parameters??

Hi folks

I am trying to change the TCP header in ns-2.1b7a/tcp.h. After
modifying, I have set the values of my parameters. I have changed the
values in the ns-default.tcl also. Now my problem is how am I going to
check weather or not the header reaching the destination is having the
changed values..

Can I somehow print the values on the console..

I would appreciate any help in this regard..
