[ns] ns2.1b3 installation problems

hi all,
since i had been having a lot of problems installing ns2.1b2, i started
installing ns2.1b3. but i have been obtaing various errors such as

cbq.cc:246: ISO C++ forbids taking the address of a non-static member
function to form a pointer to member function.  Say
`&CBQueue::eligible_ancestors'
cbq.cc:249: ISO C++ forbids taking the address of a non-static member
function to form a pointer to member function.  Say
`&CBQueue::eligible_toplevel'
cbq.cc:252: ISO C++ forbids taking the address of a non-static member
function to form a pointer to member function.  Say
`&CBQueue::eligible_formal'

i am not a programmer, just someone who needs to use the software for some
research work. pls help.
