[ns] problems with setdest!

  	For some reason, despite punctiliously following the README file,
I can not get setdest to work.  I run configure on /ns, run make on
/setdest, and it creates a "setdest" file, but for some odd reason
doesn't recognise it!!!  Has anyone encountered a similar problem?  If so,
how did you fix it?  Thanks!
