Hi,

I wondered why ns2 is using RED Queues even for core routers (see diffserv/dsCore.h). Conditioning the traffic stream at the boundary nodes should be sufficient.

Additionally this has the negative effect, that the packet dropping probability is depends on the path-length through the DiffServ Domain, because at each core router the packet could be dropped.

Any comments?
