Yes, Solaris. (8, if anyone cares). ok, so that problem is lame but easily
fixable.

So then, why does "make install" not work?
The patch to Makefile.in suggested on the NS bug fixes web page doesn't
help any. A search through the list archive doesn't turn up anything for
me.
