My research group hopes to protect against the cyber attacks of tomorrow. When the whole world is a testbed for the “bad guys,” they have infinitely more resources than those building protections. We use testbeds to test and develop new layers of protection, to anticipate attacks before they occur. Key to this research is DETER (DEfense Technology Experimental Research), one of the world’s leading testbeds for creating innovative security technologies. DETER is free and accessible to all who want to use it, but is specifically designed for advanced researchers with intensive knowledge on the field.
