Elizabeth Boschee

Associate Director of the AI Division; Principal Scientist; Director of ISI's Boston Office

Elizabeth Boschee is the associate director of ISI's AI division, the director of ISI's Boston office, and a principal scientist focusing on language understanding technology. She has led numerous language understanding efforts with customers such as DARPA, IARPA, ONR, and the IC. Her current projects include developing representations of authorial style for the purposes of both attribution and anonymization, explainable LLM-driven knowledge delivery systems, and the injection of structured information into neural models. Previous work at ISI includes automatically extracting and organizing causal knowledge from semantically-diverse information sources, developing a system for generating English summaries of multilingual content from both speech and text sources, and extracting targeted information from foreign language texts with only English training data.
