A total of 33 students are joining across the two programs.<\/p>\n<p>The SPHERE interns span three locations and a virtual cohort: 13 interns are joining onsite in Marina del Rey, CA; two at Northeastern University in Boston, MA; three at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT; and five working virtually.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside them, 10 REU students are working onsite in Marina del Rey, gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity and privacy research.<\/p>\n<p>These students chose to dedicate their summer to tackling hard problems in cybersecurity and privacy research \u2014 and we take that seriously.
