{"id":43,"date":"2022-02-03T18:20:08","date_gmt":"2022-02-03T18:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.isi.edu\/research-groups-asic\/?page_id=43"},"modified":"2024-09-25T16:15:20","modified_gmt":"2024-09-25T16:15:20","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.isi.edu\/research-groups-asic\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p>Computing platforms for decades have been designed around a basic Boolean switch &#8211; &#8216;The Transistor.&#8217; Over the years, the vision for computing has changed drastically from room-sized computers to handheld devices. However, the underlying hardware principles based on digital switches and synchronous logic have fundamentally remained unaltered.
