DV Routing?

Hi,
    I have a question about DV routing.
>From ns Doc, I know, except periodical refreshing, the routing table in 
each node is also refreshed when there is a change in topology. I think 
I can also directly call some function to refresh all routing tables.  
However, which function should I call to refresh all routing table in 
DV Routing?
