[ns] tcl make error!!!

hi,
  while installing the ns-allinone-2.1b6 on red hat 6.2 i am getting a tcl
make error. the error message says ERANGE undeclared in
generic/tclCompExpr.c . when i checked the file it says that this was a hack
to use the file in environments other than unix. can anyone please let me
know whether they encountered such problems before and what is the
solution..
