[ns] ns wireless ip queries

hi all

i was looking out for a network simulator for wireless
ip and i found the ns site. i'm working on my master's
thesis right now and i need a wireless network
simulator. i have a couple of questions for all of you

1. i found a link to the  ns wireless ip way back in
'98. does anybody know of a link that is more recent
and a version that is quite stable (if its bug free
then that's an added plus)

2. also on the ns website i saw a link to mpls over ns
(not wireless ns mind you!) i was wondering has anyone
done work with wireless ns and mpls (multi protocol
label switching) or 802.1Q (ieee std. for virtual
LAN?)
if so could you please email me. 

3. i basically looking at working with the wireless
simulator and these protocols. i was wondering has
anyone else worked with any other protocols and how
difficult was the task?
