[ns] NS2 on WinNT

Hello,

I will be working with NS2 on an NT box and was hoping that someone who
has had experience installing NS2 can give me some pointers.

I have downloaded some of the packages - and am in the process of
updating/modifying the makefiles - but when I see an error like "don't
know how to make .\Release\panic.obj" I don't know how to proceed.  I
would appreciate if I could maybe ask these small questions to someone who
can quickly answer them.  Maybe those that have had success with NS and NT
can email me back?

I am using MS Visual Studio C++ 6.0.
