Hi,

What should be the configuration of the PC to run ns simulations for
large networks (thousands of nodes)? When I run a simulation for 1000
nodes on PII350 with 196MB ram, it takes *too* long to complete the
simulation. What is the bottleneck in ns, CPU power/RAM? How much RAM /
what kind of CPU should be employed on this system?

Also, can anyone enlighten me about what kind of hw / sw components are
being used in network laboratories.
