Hi folks

On Sun machine (Solarios)

on fresh ns-2.1b8  install the phase

make tcl8.3.2		fails with the following error:
----------------------------------------------------
rm -f libtclstub8.3.a
ar cr libtclstub8.3.a tclStubLib.o 
make: ar: Command not found
make: *** [libtclstub8.3.a] Error 127
tcl8.3.2 make failed! Exiting ...
-------------------------------------------------

Could someone advise me what is the problem and how it can be rectified ?
