[ns] Problem when check out an early version of ns-2.

Hi guys,


   I was trying to check out ns-2.1b7a with the following command
    cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/home/anoncvs/PUBLIC_CVSROOT
            checkout -r NS_2_1B7_PATCH1 ns-2

  But I always got error message "Terminated with fatal signal 6"
  Anyone knows why and what should I do.
