[ns] validation-problems with ns-allinone-2.1b8a with RedHat 7.1

Dear ns-users,

Sometime ago, I've installed ns-allinone-2.1b8a on 3 different systems which
all run with Redhat 7.1 and on each of them I get the following errors while
running the validation:

validate overall report: some tests failed:
     ./test-all-red
to re-run a specific test, cd tcl/test; ../../ns test-all-TEST-NAME
Notice that some tests in webcache will fail on freebsd when -O is turned
on.
This is due to some event reordering, which will disappear when -g is turned
on.

I looked at the website and the archives of the mailing list for a remedy
for this problem but I couldn't find a thing.
I hope that someone knows why this happens and that they can tell me what I
can do about this.
