[ns] assign transmitting power and range in ns2 2.1b8a

dear ns users,

I want to run a wireless model simulation.
However, I coun't find the place to assign the transmitting power and
the transmitting range.
Could anyone tell me where I can assign them and where I can know the
consumed receiving and idle power?
