Good question, it would be interesting if someone did write multicast TCP
addition to ns-2, I haven't seen one yet. (But then, not even a simple LAN
bridge has been implemented in ns-2, to the wise tune "write your
own"...;-). The MTCP concept itself has been around for a few years, and
the uninitiated could consult the excellent ICACT 2001 paper by Japanese
researchers Visoottiviseth et al. at
